I’m Meg Wendy and New Focus on Fine Living is an outgrowth of my years in the business of producing art, antiques and design shows. Familiarly known as the “Wendy Shows” for the last forty years, Westchester Enterprises, Inc., organized the first antiques show in the United States in New York City in 1934. “Wendy Shows” were held in cities outside of New York as well – and were known for having something for everyone’s taste and budget.
My experiences have afforded me the opportunity to come to know a wide range of creative people: dealers, designers, artists, artisans. Through this blog, I will be able to share my contacts with you and together we will discover what is new and unique. We will re-discover things we know about with a new perspective.
So you ask…why a blog? Today’s technology enables us to link you to sources all over the world in a matter of minutes! Anything and everything imaginable is available to you in the comfort of your own home…and we want to help you find what you’re looking for! Regular features on Fine Living will keep you updated on new trends, events, auctions, fairs, travel ideas and more. E-mail us with your own thoughts and stories…we want to hear from you!
